You are cordially invited to the second installment of Sophia Domeville’s latest art exhibit,

“The Diary of a So-Called Woman.”

On Sunday, June 30th join Haitian American Artist, Sophia Domeville as she hosts an open forum to the public discussing her latest exhibition, mental illness within the community and her work as an Artist.

“My exhibit touches on the taboo topic of mental illness within our community and the distorted view of female identity through media and culture. Please come and have an in depth conversation circling my new exhibit while dining on great food,”

says Sophia.

The first series to be unveiled from the “The Diary of a So-Called Woman” exhibit is titled “Imprint.”

“Imprint” is a series of custom canvases that portray mental illness in our community through the usage of expressive colors, textures and collage as Sophia tackles how this illness is viewed through the eyes of the sufferer.
